Cinecitta Si Mostra

The documentary Shooting at Cinecittà explores both the history of Cinecittà and the production of some of the most popular movies in cinematic history. The Palazzo Presidenziale has been transformed into a setting where guests may engage themselves in the past of well-known films and film genres, listen to tales, and discover interesting information through a range of images, interviews, authentic costumes, and videos.

Backstage offers guests a glimpse inside the many film disciplines with its six rooms devoted to screenwriting, costuming, sound editing, and visual effects when they come to explore Cinecitta si Mostra. This exhibition includes the Sound Room, Director's Room, Script Room, Fiction Room, Green Screen Room, and Costume Room. Temporary costumes from Federico Fellini's films The Clowns and Casanova are on display to complement the show.

The American submarine S-33 set, which was constructed for Jonathan Mostow's film U-571, is accessible via the Submarine exhibition trail. In April 1942, the US Navy attempted to seize the German submarine U-571, as is depicted in the movie. The trip concludes outside the LED gallery, which offers a thorough overview of Cinecittà Studios through the personalities who have helped the Studios become a renowned attraction over the course of its 80-year existence.

The newest permanent exhibition path is called Felliniana, and it was created by Oscar-winning production designer and visionary architect Dante Ferretti. Federico Fellini. Visitors to the art installation, which is located in the storied Palazzina Fellini, may get submerged in a world conjured up by Fellini's imagination, resulting in a miniature city within Cinecittà, a real-world backdrop for his films.

One of Cinecittà's largest sets, encompassing nearly 10 acres, is the Ancient Rome set built for the HBO TV series Rome. It shows the historic civil and religious institutions of the Roman Forum. The supporting structures are covered with fibreglass plates and wooden panels. The enormous set is distinguished by its rich colour scheme, which includes strong red, blue, and green tones as well as lively furnishings that enable viewers to envision what the now-whitened ruins looked like under the Roman Republic.

Francesco Frigeri, who is widely known for his work on Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, designed the Temple of Jerusalem set. When designing the Temple, the architect ignored a purely linguistic approach in favour of a more expansive creative vision that incorporated a wide range of architectural styles, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Northern Yemenite influences.

Production designer Marco Dentici built the Florence in 1400 set in 2002 for the Michele Soavi-directed television series Francesco. Over the years, the set has undergone updates and renovations to serve as a background for a range of settings and eras, notably Francesca Comencini's Netflix TV series "La luna nera."

Children aged between 5 to 12 can participate in the Il Cinebimbicittà film workshop. This session enables families to take in the Studios and Exhibitions while the children are relaxed and occupied in the workshop. Cinebimbicittà offers a variety of activities every Sunday, comprising seminars, special events, interactive visits, and events for both kids and adults.

The education department of Cinecittà Shows Off has been collaborating with a range of groups and government agencies since 2011 to create a number of unique programs with the goal of promoting art, cinema knowledge, and social integration. Totoro Garden, Pinocchio al Colle, Growing Up in Rome, From the Book to the Movie, Istituto Comprensivo GOLA, and more films are included.
